the browser that they waited for

November 9, 2004. Oh my goodness it's here! Hahaha! NOT. No I am not elated at all, but I wonder how the Firefox fans are reacting to getting the 1.0 release of the browser. I bet they are all jumping up and down in sheer ecstacy. I am going to give 1.0 a spin anyway just to see how it fares.

    Each time you install a newer version of Fire Fox, you're likely to lose some extensions which you've painstakingly installed. The extensions development trails far behind. The current 1.0 version, eg., is also different from the previous 1.0)0PR one demonstrate plenty of this this extension incompatibility.

  • The Extensions for the latest version of Fire Fox is way behind. :( Those of the previous release became non useable and are automatically deactivated.

  • Thus far I have been using Opera a whole lot. I switch between Opera and Maxthon actually. Firefox does not interest me anymore, I think the other two browsers have a lot more to offer.
